Learn to cut Cabochons in beautiful Florence Italy
This course is intended for beginners and advanced students.
Beginners students will learn the art of lapidary, cutting and polishing gemstones that can be used to make beautiful jewelry. Using diamond-based lapidary equipment, each student will make 3-5 finished gemstones. No prior experience is required.
Advanced students and those that have taken a similar course before will advance in their knowledge working with a larger range and more challenging lapidary materials as well as more complex shapes.
Participants 1 or 2 students per class. Unlike many other courses you will receive a lot of individual attention, Denise will personally follow you through your discovery of Gemstone cutting with passion and patience.

All safety equipment, rough stones and lapidary equipment are provided.
Pre-forming rough stones
Cutting cabochons and geometric stones.
Flat lapping and polishing.
Gemological characteristics and how they affect stone cutting.
Health and safety.
Equipment technology, the safe use and operation of lapidary equipment.

Course Price - €300 / 12 hours
Course Price Express - €150 / 6 hours
4 day course 3 hours per day total 12 hour
Choose from morning or afternoon classes
Morning Class 10 am - 1 pm
Afternoon Class 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm
Participants 1 or 2 students per class.
